Target used to be a treasure hunt for clearance items every time I went.
No more. The chances of getting an amazing deal is like 10%.

It's so bad I don't even look any more. I used to go just to search for clearance

How are there 21 thumbs up on a post that contains zero information 😂
OP, any DCPI's or any info to help folks know what is on clearance?

Agreed. That was the appeal of Target in the mid 1980s- they were a Kmart with slightly better merchandise and environment and the end caps were filled with tempting deals. Now they are like McDonalds- pretending to be upscale by raising prices beyond sanity and having all sorts of flashy merchandise. The McDonalds FAFO phase where they forgot they cater to the working class who want cheap but passable quality, try selling me a $10-15 crapburger meal when I can eat at a better restaurant for that price. Target also tends toward aggressive and weird security guards plus face recognition tech that makes it seem like a prison vibe. People put up with it while they have money/credit access, but as the economy deflates under the Tariff King's policies- the gold veneer on this faux prosperity is washing off with the wind and customers are less frequent.

Sorry, I don't post often, and I was doing this on my phone. I saw this in Long Island, NY.
looks like some items are discounted online too, but not as much as 50%.
