Too dated for me. Felt like playing a pokemon style game. Some of the bosses and creatures were also questionable, like the giant Butt that would fart while battling. I think that's where I stopped playing.

I also hated the day/night system and that fact that you could miss content or are forced past content if you don't complete it by a certain timeframe.

I tried it because I loved Expedition 33 and wanted another turned based game to scratch the itch. This game failed to do that for me.

I also played this after Expedition 33. I have a lot of experience with turn-based RPGs and Persona 4 is one of my favorite games of all time, but yeah it feels very dated.

Aside from how dated it feels, it's also too long IMO. I've put over 70 hours into it and still haven't reached the end. With E33 I would play it any chance I got, but I've been avoiding finishing Metaphor.

It's a 7/10 max for me, mainly because of everything else outside of the combat.

This was my Game of the Year last year. It easily had the best narrative of the year. It's worth full price.

There is a demo and it definitely is substantial enough to let you know if you will like it.

Time management is a big part of this dev's games - like the Persona games - and part of the fun.

Looks like this is the lowest it's been for either PS5 and XSX?

tempted since I probably won't get to it before it leaves gamepass, but also, I might buy it and never get to it
