Could you give some kind of rationale to back your very... flamboyant comment? I mean, I'm not hating on it, you seem very excited about it being a terrible deal— and your energy is contagious... but I have a Surface Laptop I bought several years ago with like an i5, 8GB ram and a 256GB drive... which was about average specs for a laptop at that time... and I think it was about $1,000. It has lasted me around 10 years now with no issues at all during that time... and I still like using the thing- enough to buy another one, quite frankly. So this one seems about on par for a standard laptop these days... 32GB ram, 1 TB drive... oh wait. Isn't that Snapdragon like an ARM processor or something? I saw 12 cores and I was like... damn. That's about what most Xeons I work with have... But I'll be frank, I'm a network/infrastructure engineer by trade and I have for many years neglected to keep up with the desktop class hardware. After working in the IT industry for so long that not only did I lose interest in what some code name SandyLake 13th generation CPU is coming out out next month and how it's increased the chip die by 1nM and the cost by $500... so you can upgrade your $1,000 CPU every 6 months for a practical 0% performance gain— these days when I get home I don't even wanna see a computer.Anyway - point is, I stopped keeping up with the newer gen hardware at some point and what I once knew well is completely obsolete and no longer applicable. So help me out if you would. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious due to the sheer number of laughie face emojis.... and I suspect I was getting fairly warm on the punchline...

I'm thinking like those old Eee-PC's from years back that ran like some crippled CPU and had like a 10" screen and 512MB ram. Those were completely useless— yet so tiny and adorable. Much like my wife. Except when I got tired of dealing with the Eee PC I was able to find someone else that wanted it.
