My 4 year old ate the chocolate milk, 4 piece nugget, and small fry and I ate the 6 piece nugget and JBC. It's not a huge dinner for me, but it's plenty for my kid. And it was only $5.
They know that their customers will always use a deal; they just want to know at what point the volume of people claiming these deals will fall off.

I pick up Wendy's every 2-4 weeks. The Biggie bag is $5 and comes with a small fry, 4 piece nugget, small sandwich, and drink. They're usually running some kind of freebie in the app (e.g. free 6 piece nugget, free large fry, etc.). For example, yesterday I got the following for $5+tax:

I feel like as a parent, you kind of eat minimally while your kid eats well. More work and less eating will actually do wonders for health.
Although here in uber apps wendys is bogo single $6.79 and popeyes chicken sandwich is $6.39 IN MINE, so ymmv with that.
