I got a Gateway from Walmart for a friend. Cheap build, junk speakers, but best price for the specs. She's been ok with it for 3+ years now. Hinge broke, but otherwise ok for a standard browser & office app user.

BUT, do not try to carry it around like a laptop, it will for sure break very quickly.
Just use it as a stationary desktop, and it might last a bit.
