Got the 406H about a month ago for a similar deal. Watched a bunch of videos while it was en route to see the best way to set it up.

I started to get nervous seeing a bunch of comments that said it doesn't really play PS2 or GameCube very well. that was my primary reason for getting it.
relieved to say that it's played both really well so far (with the exception of rogue leader, but all devices struggle with rogue leader)

Also ergonomics of the device are really underrated. possibly the highest benefit to me so far. much more comfortable than even the switch

Need suggestions. Which one is best for ps1 or dc titles? They should be no problems for GBA I guess.

Heard of the Mangmi Air X? I'm on fence between the 406H and that one. I plan on doing a stat comparison soon, but curious to know your thoughts.

I remember when I bought my original RG35XX for around $40 back in 2023 over 2 years ago when I first got into these cheap Chinese handhelds, and I still use mine from time to time to this day.

I've been window shopping handhelds the past few weeks and looked at the Mangmi Air .... while it is a little cheaper and has a better/bigger 16:9 screen... it's only got 4gb ram and the CPU is weaker (sd 662) although it does have custom driver support.... I'm leaning toward this and installing GammaOS (or rg556 deal if one comes up in this price) over the Mangmi Air for my main use cases - android games and emulation. Mangmi Air might be a better choice if you plan to do more game streaming tho

I just got the RG406H from Best Buy for $159. While it is a higher price, by the time I factored in the shipping from China, it was close. Then I factored in any possible tariffs. I'm not sure how much they would be. Then finally thought that if I hated it, I could drop it as a return at Best Buy, and probably get my money back. I'm not sure how that would work with shipping from China. US based shipping using Ali brought the price well above Best Buy, so ultimately I went with BB. I haven't even got it setup yet.

Not sure how you are getting the US shipping AliExpress price "well above Best Buy." It's less than $115 after coupons. Heck, pre coupon is $140 (links and codes in deal). Return that joker to BB....
