8 AA batteries? Lol no Thank You. Probably will wait for c210 with rechargeable in built battery.

I currently have the 2021 model and it takes 4 AA batteries. Problem is, it's a tight fit and cannot use rechargeable batteries.

Consider rechargeable Lithium Ion AA batteries. They put out 1.5V with no almost drop off vs regular rechargeable batteries that only put out 1.2V that drops off steadily. I just made the switch recently myself.

Yeah, those rechargeable ones are too fat to fit in this compartment

Really? The Lithium Ion AA I got are virtually identical in size to a regular AA. I can't see why that would be a problem.

Oh, these are NiMH ones. https://a.co/d/jibvzuyWill try to invest in Li-Ion ones.

Beware....I have this same model and it drains the batteries really quickly, don't get me wrong it's a feature rich lock just wished that the battery was rechargeable.

Which rechargeable Li-ion batteries do you have?

lithium ion batteries are great...until they die with absolutely ZERO warning. they will maintain that 1.5 voltage until they die, but then good luck getting in. You will NEVER get a low battery warning with them. It's just there nature..

That's true. My Yale has a 9 volt input for emergency power, not sure if this Eufy or other locks have the same. Plus my main door is mostly my secondary entry as the garage is used more often.

The reason I went 1.5V Lithium Ion is 1.2V from NiMH rechargeables just don't have the juice to drive the bolt and I didn't want to dump 1-use batteries every 3 months. The Yale absolutely drains batteries if you use the WiFi module!
