A lint bin? Was I supposed to be collecting it in a bin instead of putting it directly in the trash?

We use the cardboard egg cartons and pour wax over the lint then cut it apart and store them in a Pringles can. I 've never heard of using coffee grounds but I think I'll try that-maybe mixing it? I'm thinking it would smell really good.
