2.4GHz is very crowded and will result in very bad experience if the building is already crowded with devices on that frequency.

For me at office, it was a frustration to use this because the key presses became random, very slow, erratic or outright not even register and this was root caused to crowded network.
Later moved the setup to home and only to find its still an issue due to apartments filled with lot IOTs working on 2.4Ghz.
Recent bluetooth KB are a breeze when compared this unifying dongles.
