Great deal, I would be in for one if I didn't already have a spare machine.

I have heard on here that the 11 is no better than the 10. True?

only big difference is 10 is CPAP (Continuous positive airway pressure) but 11 lets you choose between CPAP or APAP (automatic positive airway pressure).
Overall very happy with airsense 11. used for a year, and I prefer the CPAP over APAP. sometimes on APAP I feel like it is not getting enough air, so I use straight CPAP. same pressure all the time.

I think 10 also support APAP.

Resmed offers 3 different machines in the series 10: CPAP, AutoSet, and Elite. Autoset offers an APAP mode. I have one and that's the mode I use.

I bought mine from sleepplay I waited until a big sale and then used HSA funds to pay for it. I think after all was said and done I paid under $700 for it.

There is an "Autoset" variant of the Airsense 10 that provides APAP as well as CPAP. I was recently switched from CPAP to APAP (UnitedHealthcare didn't want to cover a new sleep study to adjust my pressure) and was relieved that my current Airsense 10 already has this.

I think this $565 price is pretty good but similar sales come along regularly around holidays/Prime day.

This has been serving me well with no issues. This is the kind of device you always want to have a backup of, which I already do. I picked up the 10 on one of the crazy deals posted last year. Fortunately I haven't had to use it as my 11 is still pumping.

I'm fairly certain my 10 is autoset. Not 100% as it's still in the shipping box unopened from last year lol

I have a barely used one and I can't seem to make it work for me. Always feel like I'm suffocating when I wear it (breathing out, not in). Follow up with dr and they suggested BiPap instead.

Is there a used market for these? It's been cleaned, maintained and if I try Bi-Pap I won't need it.

Is yours an autoset model? It took me a real long time to get used to it. In fact, I quit the first time for almost a year... I had the exact feeling you described. My 2nd machine did have autoset and in the beginning, it was at least tolerable, yet still very difficult. After going through several masks, I settled on the P30i and it is what worked for me. All though, with cpap, different masks work for different people.

There are alot of support forums with people eager to help with advice and tips. I'm not sure I would have been able to stay using a cpap machine without them.

Thankful for excellent health insurance and being over 65. I didn't want to use one of these but this thing is life changing. I was 65 when I got it. Three years and no complaints. Also, I loved the price because with Medicare and my health insurance, nope I don't have one of those DISadvantage plans or a Medicare supplement, my cost was zero and the same goes for my supplies.
