Japan, I paid $13.16 for a 15-day pass. 1GB/day for two devices, and if I ever ran out, which I never did, it would have given me 384kbps data for use until the next day. Plenty for Google Maps and basic email. under $7 per device.
Comparable plan on Airalo, even with the 15% cashback was more expensive. Twice the cost. It was even cheaper in South Korea.
Point being, shop around. But Airalo or similar U.S. based services might be more convenient for the price difference.
