I've used this for past year and a half on a construction site. I hate it.
it's weak and design makes it awkward to use in tight spaces. Once it's about 50% full the suction is non existent. Especially with fine particles like wood or drywall dust (the filter partially clogs up and the tiny motor can't keep up).
It also chews through batteries and has no battery indication outside of checking the actual battery. The Milwaukee vac that is 12v is actually significantly better than this from my comparison.
There are better portable vacuums out there that aren't as clunky and actually have a useable detachable hose. (This one is fairly short so if the unit can't get into a tight space, you aren't reaching very far with the hose)

I owned one of these and I wouldn't pay 20 bucks. Terrible suction.

You should only be vacuuming up dust and dirt with this. If you try to use it for anything firm like cardboard scraps they will jam up the internals.

This holds _nothing_ when you have a filter in it. The filter takes up most of the tank.

As the other guy said, it's awkward to fit the front into places.

$90 is too much, especially when the harbor freight version of this is cheaper (assuming you have Hercules batteries) and you can use the hose. But I would say avoid both of those and find something else.

my experience has been nothing like the other people in this thread. I use it everyday on the jobsite. It sucks up just about everything I throw at it. the first time I bought it it lasted over 5 years before it died. the second I bought I left at a homeowners house about 4 hours away so I am now on my third purchase of this vacuum and it is over 2 years old and still going strong. will probably buy a spare if I see it drop to $69 again. definetly my favorite out of all of dewalt 20v vacuums I don't experience loss of suction until it's filled to the brim.

I agree. I have the other Dewalt cordless vacuum which is more powerful and has more attachments but end up using this wet/dry one all the time. Nice and small and convenient.
