Had one in my cart and was waffling- glad it made up my mind for me. I'm sure it's a decent sub, but when I saw they're using a stamped-steel basket driver in a $2K sub, it gave me a moment of pause.

Was able to place in order in Chicago after about 3 minutes of refreshing the page! Keep trying!

I was checking out and then it took it out of my cart on the next page. Whatever, I don't even really use the sub I have now.

EDIT: Well, I was annoyed and kept trying. Got one in cart finally and checked out. New sub now lol. Gives me an excuse to setup my home theater up again after I took it down moving stuff.

I have an RSL 12s on order from the blemish sale, but I would've tried to cancel that if I were able to land this one. From your comment though I wonder if the RSL is better? I may be overthinking it lol.

Man I have the need for a second subwoofer, but can't spend the dough on new SVS to match. This seems great for the price. Wonder how bad it would be to have two different make/models paired up.

Honestly pairing two subs from different brands of similar quality is fine since they don't have a timbre. SVS and REL are both relatively high quality so you should be fine.

It depends on make&model, regardless it's a big challenge to get optimal results. You'll need a lot of time, patience & money(ie Umik, miniDSP), results can vary wildly. Higher end RCs like Dirac's DLBC and or ART may help. That's a whole lot more cost though.
