"Tactical" boots, as long as none of your tactics involve your boots ever getting wet. Comical. Might be perfect for some folks and definitely no shade to the OP, but a not waterproof tactical boot deserves mockery. Putting this here so others curious of the same don't have to dig into the Q&A on the website to learn they are not waterproof. They don't even make claims of being water resistant, so be aware. Sorry to be negative and awesome discount price for those in the market.

Are you part of Seal Team 6 or something? Your typical first responders just want comfort from being on their foot for a long period of time and most just want the "tactical" look with sneakers like comfort.

Would walking with a resident all day be good for a nursing assistant?

I'm not too surprised since Under Armor is competing with Puma for worst quality.

while this one isn't, plenty of waterproof boots also on sale. Personally I have enjoyed the hell out of my UnderArmour "tactical" boots as others are disparagingly emphasizing. The Valzets line I find quite comfortable and roomy for hiking and working in all seasons and environments. Backpacked up a few mountains, spent a few days standing on concrete, feet felt fine for all of them. Also mine are waterproof zip-up and I recommend springing for the zip model for convenience (granted I thrifted them brand new for $7 so my view is skewed).

No wide is the sad part with a lot of these brands. Can't find decent fitting shoes for these big foot feet 😭

If I was a first responder I would want boots that are water resistant. Imagine going to help people out after a hurricane ,flood,or storm. Do you really want to be walking around in wet socks all day. Yes it's a minor inconvenience, but if something can make you feel a little bit more comfortable while on your feet all day then it's worth it to buy water resistant boots..

Wait, you think water resistant footwear is going to keep your socks dry in a hurricane or flood? You might want to investigate the difference between water resistant and water proof.
