Let your friends use it without telling them. It silently cripples them. It's just subtle enough that you question if you suck. I hate Joycons so I used one of these for months without knowing. Just thought that's how Smash was.
I switched to a pro controller and i felt like I was playing the game at 2x speed. I became a monster. My son cried because I completely destroyed him and he realized I was the better player the whole time, it was the controller making me lose. He is still mad.
