so, if I find someone with an edu account, is it easy for him to buy it for me? I don't want to bother people too much if it is too much of a hassle

they have to make an account and verify their credentials. you can also try EPP if your employer participates.

amazon.com has it for 269, guess I rather pay a bit extra to not bother anyone.

EDIT: Microcenter also has it for same price as Amazon, but if you live in Florida... they are having a no tax month so it would be cheaper than Amazon then except you'd have to drive there.
