I've been looking to build a new 5080 gaming rig with the Ryzen 7 9800X3d. I found this PC on bestbuy's website a few weeks ago for $2549 and direct from Andromeda was $2499.99 and I was tempted to pull the trigger because of the cost to build vs pre-built was so close. The cost to build this come back at $2230 on PCpartpicker. I placed an order an hour ago and my estimated delivery time is 2 weeks out. It looks like reddit reviews are stating they arrive on time.

They dropped the price last night to $2199, $49 for regular shipping and $99 for expedited. I was not charged sales tax. Right now it is cheaper to buy this assembled than building it yourself. Evidently they don't use any proprietary parts either, which should make upgrades easy in the future.

This appears to be one hell of a deal for a high end gaming rig.

Good find. It's almost good enough to pull trigger but 16gb vram is just not satisfying in today's world. I think a 5080 build needs to be lower price when 5080 super with more vram should be around the corner.

It's 32 gb of ram, the 16gb in the name is for the graphic card's vram.

Sorry to break it to you, but the rig you want with everything the same as this one except a 5080 super card is going to be closer to $3k at release, likely not getting near this price for another year+ after that, if ever.

Fact is atm this is Nvidia's 2nd highest vram consumer card so it is kinda weird to hear someone say it is not satisfying.

Don't think for a minute ngreedia won't charge an ultra premium for that extra vram. Then remember the bots and scalpers you will need to deal with at launch and beyond.

Honestly this should hit FP for sure unless it sells out before then.

you are probably right. The reason I want more vram is because I made a mistake of getting a 4k OLED TV as gaming monitor so now vram actually matters for a little future proof. I'll pay some premium for a 20gb or 24gb vram 5080 super

Phenomenal deal. I locked this down after looking for over a month, the typical pricing I saw was always 2.5k - 3k. Thanks for sharing!

Noticed they are also running this deal which saves $400 if you don't need the 5080 right now. Good if you game in 1440p now and want to save for a bigger vram card down the road
