1. A firmware update adds native steam compatibility, so the controller is recognized by Steam as 8bitdo ultimate 2 wireless (complete with image of the controller). Steam natively recognizes all buttons and you can map everything, use gyro and use analog triggers. You need to start the controller in d-input mode for this (press the B button while turning the controller on). You need to have the latest firmware updates (beta version is no longer needed). Unfortunately the implementation is quite buggy at this time. In many games any rumble event will freeze the controller so you can't really use rumble. It's not clear yet whether it's a Valve issue or 8Bitdo issue and a fix may or may not come.
2. It works with switch using the dongle. Just need to turn on in switch mode by pressing the Y button while turning it on.
3. Native gyro implementation is very good, and if you are into use of gyro this is one of the best options in its price bracket.
This one is not working with switch or switch 2 or ios devices. If u need this, check 'Bluetooth' version. I did a mistake.
This one ABSOLUTELY works with Switch 2. You just need the latest firmware on both the controller and the dongle. And then start the controller while pressing the Y button. This puts it in switch mode. It will not work in Bluetooth mode. The controller needs to be in 2.4GHz mode (not Bluetooth mode). And since the switch 2 has a USB-C port on top and this controller has a USB-C dongle, you can simply plug in the dongle on top without any adapter.

Same, I have big clunky hands and I have no issues using the controller. It's definitely one of the more comfortable controllers I've used in recent memory.
You are incorrect. There are two versions of this controller. Both called the Ultimate 2. Ultimate 2 Wireless (this one, compatible with iOS, windows, android) and the Ultimate 2 Bluetooth (compatible with windows and the switch + switch 2). Both Ultimate 2 controllers have Bluetooth, 8bitdo named the two different devices poorly.
Yes, they have two versions. 8bitdo recently updated the ultimate 2 wireless to support the switch as well. I just finished playing all of Metroid prime remastered on the switch 2 with exactly this controller (and same purple color). They do not advertise it. But a quick search will tell you I'm correct. Again you have to update the firmware and you have to start the controller on switch mode (press Y while turning it on) and it only works with the dongle connected. Not via Bluetooth.
