Great price for the standard version but it is the most basic. Other models have nice features that are good to have. So if you can afford the Jr or Q versions they have more to offer in a wah. Different range and tone options. Still this might have the sound you are looking for, it's a classic for a reason.

I got this last year, having never tried a wah (even though I've been playing for over 25 years), and now I wish I had gotten one of the others. This thing is great, don't get me wrong. As you said, it's a classic for a reason, but now I find myself wanting more out of a wah.

I will add for anyone new to wah pedals, if you try this out and it sounds terrible, open it up and move the wheel inside a little one direction or the other. I think the instructions even tell you that you can do that, but I ended up watching YouTube to see what was "wrong" with my pedal. My wah was crazy high pitched. I adjusted that wheel a little and got it sounding like I imagined it was going to sound out of the box.
