Prices are as of this posting date and time. Not sure how long they will last as it's the lowest price I've seen for either. CCC says usually 18 to 22 something. I wouldn't be at all surprised if these prices go back up very soon.
I have a few Flame Kings that I bought for around 18 something, and they work great for a LEGALLY refillable bottle. The bleed screw helps ensure that your bottle is full but not overfull so that they're safe to use and transport. I've ditched all my Coleman and other bottles and now only refill the Flame Kings. The Mr. Heaters appear to be similar if not the same.
For those who don't have a refill kit, there are many adapters available on Amazon. Just search "
propane refill adapter [amazon.com]". You don't need to use a kit made by Mr. Heater or Flame King. One of the Amazon adapters will work just as well for less $$. That's what I use. If you've never filled a 1lb tank, check out some videos on youtube. It's extremely easy for almost anyone to do. It won't take too long to earn the investment back as opposed to continually buying full 1lb cylinders, and to do it safely.
