everyone calls the rubber hoses contractor grade. it doesn't mean squat. if you lug it around a lot, then it ill be heavy and guaranteed to kink eventually, especially left in the sun. can't get around if u get the typical rubber hoses. but if u dont move it a lot, then its ok. looked for alternative materials if u intend to use and move it a lot and if left in the sun.

the green hoses say HEAVY DUTY, while the beige ones say CONTRACTOR GRADE. Which one is supposed to last longer?

Depends on your use case. I had the Beige Contractor Grade for several years. It is much thicker than the average hose, which makes it more abrasion resistant if used in a worksite or other setting with sharp objects. It is more prone to kinking, however. For gardening, I'd go with the thinner but more flexible green hose. It'll be less araison resistant, but that doesn't matter as much when used in a garden

Does HF offer any smaller (less than 25ft) garden hoses? I'm not seeing any online, so just asking before I bother wasting my time on a store run.

California's Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to warn Californians about significant exposures to chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. It doesn't ban these chemicals, but mandates warnings when they are present in products or locations, allowing consumers to make informed decisions.
