It's been this price for a while, I'd pay $50 more at Costco for better return policy and another year of warranty

Do you think they would price match to MC? My conundrum is that I have a MC credit card that gives me 5% off instantly which sweetens the discount to $1568 before taxes. The Costco credit card only gives potentially 4% back (Executive + CC purchase at Costco). And a more important question, do you think it will go lower given its been around this price for a while.

Quick reading suggests that the MC card doesn't offer an extended warranty, so it's actually an additional 2 years of warranty (1 from Costco and 1 from another VISA card that offers extended warranties). The 90-Day return period gives you significantly more time to figure out if the unit has issues that cause you to want to return/exchange. Price match is almost certainly out of the question with Costco. I'd say that the additional peace of mind is worth the additional 1-2% overall price difference after all rebates.
