Got this for $32 and it plays like an arcade shooter game with a little more freedom. Fun but haven't gone back to it in months. It was actually the first time I played for 2 hours straight and at the end felt a little motion sickness

I just beat this last week. RE4 is one of my all time favorite games, and I've been playing it repeatedly for over a decade. Beaten it probably two dozen times. This is such a cool, fun, new version of it. It's got incredible graphics (especially with Quest Games Optimizer enabled), amazingly fluid controls, accurate and intuitive weapon access, and it's just such an awesome way to experience such an old game. I have gotten motion sickness from games like Aircar and Death Horizon, but experienced none of that here. It doesn't have the Separate Ways missions, but does have Mercenaries. Can't recommend it enough, especially if you already like RE4.

Beaten the game on multiple platforms, and this is probably the best way to play the game. Wii was probably my second favorite (because of the wiimote), but the original GC version will always have a special place on my heart.

As someone who generally hates the RE games going back to RE1 (for the record, Dead Rising was more my speed, the RE games felt more like scripted movies to me where there was only ever 1 real solution to any given problem, and if you didn't figure it out by reading the Game Guide first you were basically starting over from the beginning and trying again), would this be a fun addition to someone who loves VR shooters? Or is it full of "oh you didn't save your shotgun ammo for the Bad Guy on Level 3, Chapter 2...you have to start over" kinda thing. Or is this version more of an arcade house-of-the-dead shooter at this point?
