I would stay away. As someone who has been in the back of hundreds of commercial kitchens, I have never seen one of these pans being used. I used a knockoff hexclad that I purchased from my local Asian grocer about 8 years ago. It looked identical to hexclad in every way, and likely was. It turned out to be a master of none. I would stick with stainless/carbon steel, ceramic nonstick, and cast iron. Never use metal or abrasives on nonstick and don't max out the temp. Cast iron is good if you don't mind doing a little research and routine maintenance. Carbon steel warps if heated too quickly, so I prefer stainless. For nonstick, just buy the cheapest ceramic coated one you can find. Regardless of which one you use or how well they are treated, they will lose their nonstick properties after a certain number of uses/washes. Also, don't listen to cast iron snobs telling you that nonstick doesn't have its place in the kitchen. No amount of cast iron seasoning will ever be able to do some of the things nonstick can.

Seems like a great price.

Been using them 2 weeks, no complaints. Cooked chicken breast, thighs, salmon, and bacon.

Yes, worst of both worlds.

This type of hexclad style hybrid pans is dumb and it combines the worst properties of stainless with the worst properties of nonstick pans. Just get stainless for most of your cooking and one cheap nonstick pan for when you really need nonstick and expect that the nonstick one will wear out and need to be replaced periodically.

Would you have suggestions on true ceramic coated pans? I read many claimed ceramics but actually still contain typical nonstick, and that true ceramic coated ones aren't cheap. I've been trying to find one to compliment the cast iron, carbon steel and stainless steels we have.

Don't buy Hexclad or this copy. Just buy a normal nonstick PTFE pan if you want a normal nonstick pan. Yes, it will wear out eventually.

Don't bother with ceramic "nonstick" pans. They wear out even faster than teflon based PTFE pans. If you're worried about health risks or environmental impact of throwing away pans, just get stainless steel pans or maybe carbon steel/cast iron.

What "induction compatible" means to t-fal is that these get detected and then mildly warm on an induction range set to max. Absolutely do not buy for an induction stove.
