In fact, you should store as little as possible in the bathroom. It's a prime location for mold & mildew. Only keep in the room what you're immediately using.
The TP holder I currently use only has 3 rolls in it, but I've never noticed them being affected by moisture. But I run the fan when I'm showering and for a little while after the shower.
The one I use [amazon.com] also doesn't have a hole in the side like this one, so that probably helps.
