Might be worth it at this price. We paid twice that because it's supposed to be one of the better ones but it seems pretty mediocre to me and not worth it anywhere near full price. We've only had this model so I don't have any others to compare it to but it isn't terrific at avoiding things. It'll eat cords if left on the ground and it couldn't detect our bar stool legs that loop flat on the bottom and would get hung up on them. Otherwise it seems to be ok. It isn't for deep cleaning! Only maintaining, so adjust your expectations there. I think that's all of these robot vacs though.
The X40 Ultra was his top robo vacuum last year. They just did some updates to it with the X50. The X50 is a little more refined, but you're getting ALMOST the same performance for $1,281 less. That's a bargain!
Bought a certified refurbished from them last month. Worked great for three days - ran it a total of 10 hours- then lost its mind and committed suicide.

I just bought the L40 ultra new for $475 from their store. It's basically the same vacuum with the X having a bit better specs but similar real world performance from tests I saw. Figured it was worth $50 to get a new one, I also liked that the L40 is in white.
It worked out to about three hours a day. Home is 1800 sq feet. Vacuumed....then mopped. Multiple cycles. Time to recharge to 100% always. Then repeat the next day, etc.
When i buy 'refurb' its important to put it through its paces. Got to know if there are glitches. Found a major one late on day three. It spontaneously did a factory reset. (There were other minor things.)
That was enough. Not taking a chance that it was an intermittent issue that would repeat after the 30 day return window. Speculation was that there was a PCB error. Back it went.
