The reviews say the top is not removable making it difficult to clean. That is the main reason I never got this one.

Not available in any local stores, and it's not even available for shipping ☹️

It's not a Zojirushi, but the one priced similarly on a recent deal is made in China so I'll probably pick this one up instead. Can't argue with Costco's return policy too.

I have an aging Zojirushi 10 cup rice cooker (ZCC10) I'm looking to either get a new inner pot or replace. Would it be a good idea to replace with this one? Cost of the pot for mine is more than this Tiger.

I have this and use it twice a week. Works great! Top is not hard to clean just wipe it with a paper towel or clean rag before it dries and you're good. Not sure the incremental improvement over this vs a $250 rice maker just appropriately salt your rice and you're set.

That was my logic. Great return policy, solidly made, and lots of good user reviews. I have test run mine and works great.

This one is smaller but this is about as cost effective as you get.

I would, I did the same thing on an old zojirushi with a peeling inner bowl. A replacement bowl is out of stock on the website and like $150 on some websites. This works just as well as the zoji. Plus it has replacement bowls available in stainless steel.

Wow- a stainless steel bowl! That's a huge plus! We've been trying to move away from nonstick pots. Rice cooker is the last that's hard to get away with.
