About this Film:
  • The bitter, vengeful world of waiting tables gets the Clerks treatment in Waiting.... A new employee (John Francis Daley, Freaks and Geeks) gets trained at Shenanigan's.
  • The staff includes a snarky waiter (Ryan Reynolds, Van Wilder, The Amityville Horror) who lusts after the underage hostess; a waiter suffering from crippling pee-shyness (Robert Patrick Benedict, Threshold); an oracular dishwasher (Chi McBride, Roll Bounce); and a conflicted waiter named Dean (Justin Long, Dodgeball), who's just been offered a promotion to assistant manager.
  • Waiting... is a loose shamble of a movie--the only thing resembling a story is Dean's life crisis--but that's part of its charm.
  • Also featuring Anna Faris (Lost in Translation), Luis Guzman (The Limey), and rabidly adored stand-up comic Dane Cook as..a cook. --Bret Fetzer

This movie will be hilarious to anyone that has ever worked in a restaurant, loves raunchy comedy and/or Ryan Reynolds. Up there with Porky's in my book as far as raunch and there is no nudity.

I was never a server but did work in fast food and dealt with the public for 25 years...I think it's hilarious! I'm generally not too into comedies but I love this movie and I've seen it a dozen times. Good times!

this movie is an American treasure. Alanna Ubach deserved all the Oscars for her performance.

This film makes Tarkovsky, Nolan and Kubrick look like film students.

I've always felt like this was one of the most underrated comedies of all time. It's that funny.

"1080p - Beyond High Definition"
Not that I want to see dandruff on toast in 4K but if you are buying physical, it should be 4k and I think this movie should have original in film and should be rather easy to scan at 4K. If you never watched it and do not pay for streaming, it is still worth it, but not for archival folks.

Just a heads up if anyone hasn't watched this movie in the past couple years, it doesn't really hold up as far as being "PC". Lots of r-words and f-words. If you grew up with it, you'll probably still find it funny, but if you've never seen it before, it's peak 2000s crude.

This "movie" is absolutely garbage. It was made for high-school drop outs. In fact, in most states, it's a felony to recommend it to someone.
