Thanks OP!....I'm seriously considering this.
Just a heads-up....it's relatively large, so you'll need adequate counter space. Dimensions (according to Bella website): Height: 15.35" (with jar in place) Width: 8.58"

I got this. The jar is thin plastic. The handle feels flimsy like it will break, so we don't touch it. It does the job -- needed something to break ice to make frozen coffee or smoothie drinks with. If I had extra money, I'd go for a glass jar or at least thicker, stronger plastic.

Yes, the jar is about as thick as a Gatorade bottle, just more rigid. Except for that, I like it
