hmmm...I am close to biting on this one after having three waterdrop inline water filters installed for 2 years without any issue (higher rated than this one and absolutely work as advertised in terms of water filtration). I am contemplating this one in my master bathroom, but as pointed out the reviews pointing to the push connections blowing out and flooding someone's home are giving me pause. my assumption is whoever had this happen did not install correctly, however, I have experienced similar issues with amazon products exactly as previously reviewed. can anyone attest to this brand's filters from personal experience?

Those are stupid expensive. You can buy multiple jugs of spring water for what you're paying for a RO filter set. It's a break even cost when I crunched through the numbers.

But then you are comprising fro micro plastics as most plastic sits not just on ships but also in the sun while waiting to be moved. MP probably the leading cause to IQ drops and health problems currently.

search amazon for "Stokk UC50 " it's right there.

Filter is $29.99, so might as well buy several of the complete assembly for $23.27

I've currently have the "Under Sink Water Filter for Sink Faucet by CuZn," for past 6 years... been working great, water tastes awesome still.

Wife asked if it needed to be replaced... so I drew a glass of the CuZn filtered vs another sink cold and asked her to tell the difference. She could just by smell... our municipality uses a lot of chloramine. Tasting the unfiltered water is quite obvious

I paid $160 for RO a few years ago. well worth the cost, my family and dogs all bennifit from drinking filtered water. something we literally use every day it has paid for itself when comparing the cost of Brita/zero water filters and then there is the convenience factor to consider.RO is wasteful so if you live in a area where water is really expensive may not be the best option. also concerns about micro plastics but who can really avoid those with everything we use being made of plastic.
