My experience has been that with three batteries, by the time you finish one there's another one ready to be used. find a deal on a trimmer with another 2 amp power battery and you should be good to go as long as your energy holds out

I agree with others. Great deal if you're looking for a economical but not cheap battery lawnmower. Instant but if you need it. This is Greenworks' better battery ecosystem (best for homeowners, though there is a slightly better pro line, but most homeowners don't go that route). These are some of the smaller batteries, but as others mentioned, they charge quickly if you have a good charger (I'm not sure about the one this comes with) and you can alternate between 2-3 batteries just fine.
The suggestion to buy a weed eater with a third battery is a great suggestion!
I got one with defect cable from Walmart in the last deal. 10cm short. Be aware, it was made in Vietnam. And green work support didn't help. I plan to return that unit and get this one. Be sure you check it after you receive the unit. Hopefully they don't sell the defective units on a lower price

About a half hour in normal mowing conditions. It also fully charges in about a half hour. So with two you can pretty easily swap and keep going for as long as you need.

I am used to seeing (2) 4ah batteries being sold with these mowers. For the price it makes sense but you probably will want to invest in another battery if you want to be able to mow longer than 30min non-stop.
I was thinking of getting this but after reading the one star reviews (13% of total reviews) on Amazon I have decided to wait for one from a company that makes good products that they stand behind. Thanks to the OP, though, as it seems like it would be a good deal.
