I bought the Best Buy deal. However, Best Buy is the 2024 version. I didn't compare the two.

The one from target is locked to Tracefone. That what they're saying. Did it worked?

I just scooped the Boost Moto Edge 2023 Plus for $120. It sounds like it is a complete gamble whether you get one that can be unlocked (paid $5 to do it) but figured I'd put it out there because it's a whole lot more phone than the G.

this is a pretty good phone. got 2 att locked phones for some family members and they love it. for those of you that have AT&t you can get this phone for only 49 bucks at walmart.com

The big issue with Moto phones is that they only get security updates for a short period of time (and also have malware pre-installed, though that can be removed via ADB commands).

There are new EU requirements for a minimum of 5 years of security updates over there, but Motorola/Lenovo sells different models in the US and hasn't promised any increased support here.
So even if the G 2025 isn't better than older Moto phones, those other devices might have very little time left before they become e-waste.

This is not a good price but Motorola phones are better than Samsung < 200 $ price range.
