Don't buy the plastic bottles, full stop. They just don't hold the pressure, particularly in warmer temperatures. Every time I've bought Pellegrino or Perrier in plastic it is flat or early flat. If you're going to buy European mineral water, make sure to get the stuff in glass bottles.

Last time I bought these the water was flat. No fizz at all. Tasted like tap water.

Because there was something wrong with the packaging, or that's how they always are? I know this brand has less fizz than other brands.

Couldn't agree more. It's not worth buying plastic bottles of carbonated water.

These go flat over time. I purchased these Dec 13th 2024 and then developed a LaCroix addiction and they sat. Had one recently and it was totally flat. They were so so when just purchased and completely flat within 3-4 months. Crazy that the taste is so impacted by this. I wonder if glass bottles fare better.

There is a big difference in carbonation between sparkling mineral water and flavored seltzer water. The seltzer is always WAY MORE carbonated. I have bought dozens of cases of Pellegrino and Perrier from Amazon over the years and have usually been very satisfied with the level of carbonation. I do prefer a LESS carbonated beverage so keep that in mind when considering my opinion.

I sometimes buy up to a dozen cases at a time when it's a good price so these can sit for months before I use them up.

yeah i noticed that too. my supermarket had the Gerosteiner brand on sale for $2, so i gave it a try and was very impressed at the carbonation. i left it open and noticed the carbonation stayed in the water.

Gerolsteiner is the best water, period! It has a great salty/mineral flavor. I'm just too cheap to buy it, I never see it for less than $2 a bottle. My cut off for mineral water is $1.35 per liter.
