I don't own these but have had the previous 2 models and both were amazing until the battery life was 2 minutes. It's a shame bc they were so good. I've got other ones now but always tempted at around 110 bucks. I won't. But just be aware of the terrible 🔋 life that makes previous models useless.

I've been wanting these for ages and just thought to myself "okay, I'll get them but only if there's a good deal on Slickdeals." And here it is! Wild stuff.

Shokz open run 2 is amazing, with 12 hours battery life.

Might be a long shot, but check Walmart stores as well, they were clearing them out for around this price new.

I bought some for the gym, but wasn't impressed with the sound quality even when playing around with the EQ settings on the app.

The soundcore ones sound about the same for a lot less.

I also have the over the ear Sony XM3's and they sounded a lot better than either.

I have these and I have a pair of jabra elite 8 actives (gen 1) and bought some of these for a similar deal a while back.

I initially thought I liked the jabras better but after a lot more listening these are the winner. They are much more crisp and clear in the sound, the jabra has better bass but the overall quality in sound is superior on these. I highly suggest making your own equalizer to fine tune your preferences and the app is good for doing that.

One thing I don't care for on these vs the jabra is the jabra are plug n play, these have way too many unnecessary features IMO. The app setup if giving to my dad who is 65 (which was initial reason I purchased) is too much. The one feature they don't have and is most helpful is the locating feature of the case like jabra has - Helped me find out if I left them at the office once or twice before.

As far as sound quality these are fantastic though. I can't attest to the wear and tear aspect and if they're good for working out and sweating as I only use the jabras for that (left them in my pockets and went through the wash and they still work) so these are for my own listening and jamming out while working. Also, they are much more sensitive when you take them out and I frequently hear them playing on my desk if a coworker comes by to talk and I remove them. Know I may be pointing out a lot of negatives but just giving info from my experience.

If you're like me and prefer ear buds to big headphones then I wouldn't think twice at this price. I can't hardly listen to cheap buds anymore after these. In my opinion these are a solid buy at this cost which is about what I paid for mine (also refurb).

This is better to get than new IMO. The 2 year allstate warranty is pretty good. I used it twice for my XM4s and they were quick to replace and return them. You pay the shipping to them.

I have ordered these multiple times from this vendor. Every time they don't work. Either they don't pair or the noise cancellation doesn't work.

Five iterations later the call quality still sucks.

I wear them during all my runs and they're very good. Stays secure with stock buds, even during all out sprints. I bought these at 130, and is probably the best 130 I ever paid.

Bought 2 sets of Linkbuds S from this seller. The products were great. But just after a year, both of them has battery life of around 2 minutes a like yours.
Decided that unless Sony changes the battery supplier for their buds, never going back to them however good the sound quality and experience is.

How many years you got out of them ? with how much usage ?
I've had the xm4 and the xm5. Returned the xm4, I like the xm5 more.

Got it thr last time but returned them. The max volumen wasn there compare to airpod pros 2. Im using android with them. Even with the sony app I couldnt find a setting to increase the volumen. They dont sound tiny but after listening to the airpro 2, is like it missing a few volumen notch

The way that Sony makes you control the earbud touch controls is absolutely horrible with these earbuds. Aside from that, they are pretty solid but I also use an EQ with them. I had to exchange 2 sets of the XM4's due to battery drain issue, yet I still prefer them with their ease of use and sound to the XM5.

no mention of the 2 year all state warranty that secondipity usually includes. makes me fear that allstate refused to insure them because of facts undisclosed in listing
