Are there any bright laptops for under $500? All the screens seem to be 250-300 nits.

https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/d...n-1-laptop Not sure if this is the same exact model, but it mentions in the specs "*The maximum resolution supported over HDMI is 1920x1080 @60Hz. No 4K2K output." How is that possible in 2025? I have one of those portable 16" monitors that is like 1440p 144hz.

Also in the specs "14", Touch, FHD+, WVA, 300 nits" which people say is a VA panel.

Nope. Ans 300 used to be perfectly bright. Weird it's like our eyes have all gotten worse these days.
