My issue with the Colorsoft is that the color layer on top leaves a visible grid on black and white text, and the color itself is not vibrant enough to really add much.
If you mostly read books and not comics, a black and white Kindle gives a better experience and crisper text.

I agree with you, I bought one for my wife and compared to my Paperwhite I am not a fan. I haven't messed around with the settings too much but I didn't see a quick toggle for inverting the screen either which is really useful for night time reading.
