I'm stuck between this and the Sony 90xl, 85" for 600 less. it's going in a basement and we will have control of ambient light, I do expect it to be lights semi on most of the time for operation.

I bought Samsung qn90d 85" when it was on epp sale last month for -1200. Going to be delivered next week. Now contemplating if it's really worth to spend additional 500 for this. Which means I'll get Costco 5 years warranty and an oled. Please advise if anyone have inputs

I'm in the same boat.From everything I've read it seems that the only difference is brightness. Literally the only difference. Everything else is exactly the same. Apparently down to the processor (only applies to the 83"). The 83" has the same A9 chip as the C4 line, whereas the rest of the B4 line gets the A8. So with that said, I might bite on this since the room it's going in is not particularly bright.

Looks like a good deal. Samsung is no go for me. Do not want to deal with their software bugs and no updates. If you plan to use AV receiver I would get LG to avoid frustration with samsung
