I'm not a gamer and would mostly use this to surf the internet and rip movies. Sometimes use Handbrake to compress them.
My Asus Flip 14 (2018) is ancient by now, so I'm sure both are a massive upgrade.

Really nice deal on a near unicorn. 24gb is actually brilliant on this device, because you can select the amount of RAM to allocate as VRAM on the chip. If you're planning any gaming on this (~3,750 in Time Spy), you could set 8gb for the built-in GPU and still have 16gb for everything else.

The Costco one you referenced is a Vivobook, not a Zenbook, and is 14" and not 16".
