Seems like it's too good but I'll take a chance with Apple Pay.

I picked this up during the previous deal and it works just fine. No complaints really despite taking a chance at a retailer I had never heard of.

This one only works with smaller 8" bags. I need one that works with 11" bags.

Don't know about this particular model but I thought I read somewhere there's a hack where you can seal larger size bags on some models. You just have to seal the open end more than once.

For those that have something like this, do you use it often? I'm worried I'll buy it and then it sits on my shelf for 3 or 4 months, only being used once before I toss it in the cabinet.

I have had a larger one for years. I use it pretty regularly. It's way cheaper at the butcher to pick up a large pack of, say, chicken breasts... I keep one out and vacuum seal the rest individually. Usually flatten them a bit for quicker defrosting and even cooking later, then freeze the rest. Take one out of the freezer and toss it in the fridge in the morning, and it's ready to cook by the time I get home. You can toss some dry spices on them before you freeze them too. Haven't done it in a while, but I used to freeze portions of asparagus with pepper, garlic, and lemon. Freeze them and sous vide them later.
I'm considering this smaller one because my kitchen is small with VERY limited counter space. I'd like to swap my big one from something that takes less room.

Vacuum sealing smoked pork butt or chopped brisket /chicken and then freezing and sous vide reheating when you're ready keeps it awesome tasting and moist and it's incredibly easy. Vacuum sealing extra steaks from Costco keeps the freezer burn away. Easy to place the bag in water in the fridge to thaw. I use mine for anything I'm going to freeze. It's also good to take to work and vacuum seal people's staplers, pens, family photos, keyboards. It works well for dehydrated foods too to last forever and I'll take them on trips.
