top usefull:
ptfe dry lube - best if it needs to stay dry and dust/dirt/grime free
silicon: best if you need a bit of mixture between dry lube and other feeling lubes, but great for surfaces mix-match, care with some rubbers or plastics though.
oil/grease: thicker and best between harsh metal,
wd40: this stuff unsticks rust, but it gets sticky/tacky after a while, don't use it like a lube.

Just checked.. AI said use spit.
im saying you got to fiddle with the lock is all.
reminds me of that old saying, a lock that accepts any key is is a shi*** lock, but a key that fits and opens any lock is a master key.
no the saying has little to do with the lubricant, but its an accurate saying.
It doesn't have the range, accuracy, or damage level of a typical firearm, but to each their own.

In the past I've used WD40 for that, but after reading the comments here I won't going forward.
Did AI specify if it needs to be your own?
-For use in gasoline, diesel, ethanol, & oil. Pour into fuel system, induce directly into combustion chamber via main manifold vacuum line and add to crankcase
-Flushes marine engines, cooling systems, heat exchanges; Cleans & Protects boats, PWCs, trailers, gear, fishing tackle, autos, RVs, trucks, tools, motorcycles, atvs, bicycles, patio furniture & more!
It'll get your arms lubed up but might not put out the fire.
j/k...

I used Wesson oil for years on my 1st 22 rifle and it's 40 years and rust free
