I have this tablet, bought last time it was on sale. I am satisfied with it for media consumption and light gaming. Display is pleasant, performance 8/10. The only downside is that it has mere 128GB storage, expendable with an SD card (support for SD cards on android is actually kinda awful now)

Google isn't interested in SD support. They want you to use cloud storage. No incentive for them to improve SD integration.

it's really not that but down to speed of the memory. sd cards can significantly bog down the experience so it's really not ideal.

Do not buy. It is an awful tablet, it can't do the basic thing, scrolling interprets as touching, single touch triggers double licking, you can't use it for anything.

For those that own this or similar Lenovo tablet, does it play video in resolution higher than 480p? I had to return the tab plus I just got because it wouldn't play anything in HD. YouTube TV, fandango, movies anywhere would only play in 480p.

If you want more memory, Lenovo makes a version of this tablet with 256GB of memory. Or you can use an external SSD, but there appears to be only 1 USB-C port for both charging and peripherals.

Hard drive speed was a bottleneck, too. Guess what? SSD was the answer. Speed of the micro SD cards can easily be increased, if not for the greedy.

I have a Lenova Yoga Tab 11 from mid-2021 with a Mediatek Helio G90T (12 nm) SoC, and was updated to the Android 12. It plays 1080p no problem.
