This is not true. I have a laptop with 4060 8gb and get 90+ fps at QHD and high settings. And this slick deal is for a desktop which should be 30-40% more powerful.
Not a bad deal really. But be warned that 8gb of ram on the video card is gonna choke on anything over 1080p if you want 60fps or better.

I would also agree with this. This is a good deal, probably not a great deal.
Ugggh if this had an intel processor i would be all over it
7600x is not that bad, you can certainly overclock it and get near intel 14600k performance. This is mid tier gaming PC, so you kind of have to keep that in mind. 1080p is fine for well over 100fps with medium to high settings in most games. If you are set want to game on 4k or 1440 you shouldn't even be looking at this.
somehow the influencers get the idea out and lots of people parrot the same thing that the current-gen intel desktop cpu is crap.
though the topline is not quite there, but on par with the infamous 14th gen. The great thing is the power consumption/thermal improved by a leap. I'd be very happy to trade a little performance with the efficiency gain. For majority, a few fps is not that critical. If price is right, it's a great buy.
Despite what some of you are saying, this card is not a good choice if you are going to be playing new big name games. There are already games that are hitting over 8gb of vram at 1080p. Live in denial if you like.
If you bought this system, a great way to future proof it would be to sell the 4060ti for 250-300 (if you are lucky) and then use that to buy something like a 9060xt 16gb or if you live and die Nvidia, a 16gb 5060ti. Thats only an extra $140 after taxes for the 9060 if you sell the card for 250, now you dont have to think about vram issues.
Worth the effort imo, you wont find a prebuilt with that level of performance for under $1100.
It's low-end gaming price for low-mid end performance. No one should expect that much for ~$700

I agree, thats why I made a suggestion that make this "gaming computer" actually be able to play 2025 games. Most of the people commenting think this gpu is good enough to play new games now, let alone whatever unoptimized garbage comes our way in the next couple years.
This pc is a trap, but can easily be turned into a semi competent pc for an extra $100-150.

Lol. 4060 is about on par with a 3070 that can push 100fps at 144hz on most games.
