Amazing little docking station! I've had 3 for a couple of years now: 2 in my office and one in the garage for my nerd projects with the kids. Not a single issue. I use it with Lenovo laptops and it works better than their OEM docking station because there's no annoying firmware updates. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a detachable USB C cable to plug your laptop

I got this for cheap a while back and am not really a fan. Audio quality wasn't as good as I had hoped, neither was the mic quality, had some issues with people hearing me on calls, they'd say my audio was super low and no amount of fiddling seemed to fix it. I'd usually just disconnect it and use the laptop mic.

I have this but I don't recommend, it does not work intermittently. Audio disconnects during calls, switched to regular doc and using external mic. This is good as a speaker and as a low power dock.
Have had this for a couple years. For this price it's fine, for the normal price it's laughable. Don't expect nice mic quality (it's not awful but people will definitely know you're not using a normal mic— sounds a little muffled and distant)

Weird how mixed reviews are for this. I have been using it in my wfh station for a while now- just as a speaker/mic for virtual meetings. I've never had any complaints from stakeholders and I'm constantly on calls via this little device. I was actually thinking of getting my wife one, too, seeing this sale

Go into your video call settings and do a recording preview. Listen to your own voice versus an actual headset mic or external microphone.
The quality is pretty much garbage.
It's passable if its all you have, but I also second the sentiments of other posts above:
this device is fine for certain uses, but as a dedicated mic and speaker…its pretty weak.
Go into it with very low expectations and it might work. But as the dedicated device it purports itself to be, it doesn't do so well.
Also, I was hoping the mute button would work by default with Google Meet, but its problematic at times.

I have had this for quite a while and I actually love the concept behind it... it combines exactly the features I need for connecting a laptop to a monitor with less clutter from cables and other devices. But unfortunately I just don't find it reliable, at least with Macbooks. It often takes a few tries to get it to connect properly and it can even cause system crashes on macOS. Once you do it get connected properly it tends to be pretty stable. But it's a gamble plugging it back in every time.
I wish there was a more reliable version of this exact product because the audio quality is decent without need for external speakers/mic or USB hub. And it looks decent on my desk.
