I've had several toaster ovens over the years and they all failed. The only one still running is just like this one but maybe 3 years old now.

Do yourself a favor and only buy a toaster oven with knobs. The electronics were the failure on all my other toaster ovens.

Like most things, planned obsolescence is real and it's electronics are an easy way for them to do it.

Go old school and keep more of your hard earned money.

We got this about three years ago and it still works great. What I don't remember is whether or not it came with stainless steel food baskets. I don't want my food anywhere need teflon PFAS poison.

1800 Watts yeah I'll get my wings elsewhere don't want to blow a main panel fuse.

That's only 15 amps... the standard amperage in most homes.. unless you have 20 amps outlets you could definitely use this to cook but probably not in combination with another appliance running at the same time in the same circuit.

I bought this little over three years ago, still running strong. It's the best toaster air fryer that I ever had to cookmy food.

Exactly. So it's worthless in a kitchen as you are already using the full max 15 amps on that circuit. In most states code is 25% more. So you should run this on a 20amp.
I don't buy 1800w space heaters because they burn down houses with bad electrical. Great gift for an enemy in an old house. Buy 2.

"should be derated by a minimum of 20%" Talk electrical to me. It's getting me excited.

Reviews show it's got an Aluminum basket (not stainless steel). Fyi, if you are looking purely for a non-toxic non-plastic no-PFAS no-non-stick no-Teflon no-aluminum air fryer... (did I miss anything?) If that matters to anyone...

This is the upgraded version of the OG TOA-60 I had for several years now I have this upgraded model. This model has improved the vent on the back to blow air upwards instead of directly out against the wall. The heating elements are also upgraded with metal cages around them. The inside lighting is also is also much brighter. This air fryer is one of the best you can buy IMO and they have a great 3 year warranty

potentially very dumb question: if I bought these, can I stack the air fryer on the microwave or is that a seriously bad idea?

How's the clean up for the air fryer function, splatter seems like it would be a nightmare to clean? I prefer stainless steel over bucket style air fryers since the nonstick coating degrades fairly quickly and kaput, but clean up is easier I assume.
