This is a pretty good deal and an interesting case to build in. I've got an all white build in this case. It wasn't really planned ahead of time but I had a white B350 MB and ended up getting a white 9070. I had been looking at this case because it is one of a handful of cases that would fit my full sized ATX motherboard, a modern large graphics card like the 9070 and fit in the space I had. It's a pretty small case for fitting a full ATX MB and a modern GPU which it does by mounting the PSU in the front top position. The GPU and PSU can potentially interfere with each other depending on their size and the primary GPU slot location. A motherboard with a PCI-E 1x slot or empty slot above the primary GPU PCI-E slot will leave more clearance for the PSU to be bigger or mounted at a lower position. Can also use a SFX PSU to ensure plenty of clearance. You can bottom mount the PSU but offhand that would only work with an ITX MB.

It's flat packed in exactly the order you need the parts so you are always just pulling out the next layer for the next parts you need. Clearly well thought out. The instructions are a little odd because it's not one long set of instructions. It's a bunch of short instructions for specific steps or different configurations. If for some reason you wanted to max out the number HDs it can support you'd end up limiting the number of fans you could use and probably be limited to MATX. A full sized ATX board is probably going to have clearance issues with MB connectors and the bottom mounted hard drive position.

on paper this is great if you want a small footprint case that can hold any size gpu/motherboard

Clearance wise it's really the PSU and GPU. The 1200W+ PSUs can get big enough to cause clearance issues with longer cards. It is nice to be able to mount the PSU down one notch so it's not right up against the top panel and the front I/O which does limit the PSU length a bit.
