Asus and MSI seem to always hide the brightness, it apprears it's 400 NITS:

And in this test it talks about 475 NITS and a measured 420+ NITS

Nice! Thank you. Pretty interesting they don't mention that since it is a higher quality IPS display which is uncommon in laptops.

Sweet little system. Great battery life I'm guessing.

Panel is not really great! I am looking for Oleds. This would have been amazing.

A 400-500 nits QHD+ 165Hz 100% DCI-P3 IPS display is "not really great"? You need to redefine what you consider as not really great.

how are these ryzens and ai chips good for software development? I've only ever used intel cpus and try to get the top one i can get that still fits in a <5lb laptop, but these specs look pretty impressive for the price.

but i dont know jack about the cpus, and lack of dedicated graphics also worries me. I mostly use my machine for software development. I do use a lot of AI tools locally for this, would I see any benefit there or is the ai chip mostly for like consumer stuff like image and video gen?

appreciate any input as I am liking this setup!
