Why are you guys complaining about a luxury item as if it would be used in something as common as a pb&j like peanut butter? Do you also complain about gourmet chocolate truffles? This is something most people probably use in baked goods. The sugar content doesn't matter at that point. Get over it, and learn to live a little. You're going to die regardless.

You don't get applause, just a finger snap.

Somehow 5.3 g of sugar is 0% DV. Atrocious.

That's about half the fat but twice the sugar of a typical peanut butter. Overall calories about the same.

I'm looking at this wondering how well it would work to make Pistachio Orgeat for tiki drinks. Then again I could just as easily Vitamix a handful of shelled pistachio and manage my own sugar ratios.

Good price, but only 35% pistachios. The rest is mostly sugar and other fillers.

If sugar is a concern, it is not that difficult to make your own paste, you just need to buy unsalted pistachios and then blanch for removing the skin (unless you can find silvered ones), and then to the food processor with some powdered sugar and a neutral oil, adjust the additives to your liking. That is about it.
