Would've been a great deal if it included the charging stand. I don't get Philips fascination with fragmenting the accessories on their product lines.

I use this (without the guard or comb) to do the detailing around my beard and mustache but I do the actual trimming with the multigroomer trimmer

What do you mean by multigroomer trimmer? The one that is included?

Is the pro a worthwhile upgrade over the basic or the 360?

No, the bigger bulkier trimmer that they make. It's more powerful

Are you talking about the Philips Multigroom 7000 or 9000 series?

I think this is the older Pro model with the standard Norelco plug-in wall charger. Newer models provide a USB cable charger, which is more convenient for travel.

I returned this as I couldn't figure out what caused this to trim my beard inconsistently. The head wouldn't suddenly reduce to a lower number or closer trim, but one area of my beard would be noticeably and significantly shorter than the rest--like, five o'clock shadow near the chin and a 3 on the sideburns and a 2 in my neck and a zero in other places. I only sorta liked the shaving aspect of this. I felt it would get it only so close and I'd have to shave again the next day or the day after that for it to look clean again. Idk, I'd skip this product.

I've been using it from few days now. I keep a light stubble with clean, sharp lines. It doesn't nick at all. With the trimming comb, I'm able to get pretty close. Without it, it's almost as close as a blade.
But I still can't get those crisp, sharp lines with it, I still have to use a blade for that.
I would love to use it as body groomer, but i doubt it will able to take that much. But can be easily used for let say underarm and will do better job than my original trimmer. Havent tested it in intimate area, so no idea about that.

I had the same issue. Had mine set to 9mm, it stayed in that spot while using it but that was definitely not the length I got. Maybe half that in most places. It's a shame because it would otherwise be great for me as an all-in-one for travel, but that completely killed it.

Unfortunately not. The case is moulded internally to fit the handle with the blade. Seems really rugged, but I would have much preferred a less rugged case, with more room inside to carry the charger and accessories.

However, since I only use it every other day, a single charge lasts through my whole 2-3 week travel (and then some). Wish the charger were USB-C though.

I have been using OG OneBlade and recently upgraded to this -- and I love it. I only use it with the "versatile comb" regularly for my side burns, eyebrows, and use the skin guard for intimate parts. The versatile comb has never changed the setting, but I can see it happening, since there isn't a firm lock. Also, the comb doesn't have enough teeth to provide consistency in a single pass. I wish it were a finer comb.
However, I am quite happy with the upgrade because of the longer battery life, quicker charge, and I don't have to keep swapping blades to trim all the hair that I want. With my kinda facial hair (dense, 24-gauge wire), it does a decent job, which is good enough for most days -- especially over video calls. The body groomer works better than I expected, but the closeness is that of "2-3 days old". For the time and effort required, it was very satisfactory.

If you are already in the OneBlade system, it is a really nice upgrade for the reasons above. If you are new to it, it may depend on how much hair you plan to remove, how often, and closeness. To get a really close shave -- this takes more effort and time than electric or blade (for me). But I appreciate the reduction in time without giving up comfort 95% of the time. For the other 5%, I use my OneBlade in the shower, and use electric to touch up once I come out -- and still come out ahead in time. But your mileage may vary...
