Bad pair w/ poor luck it would seem. I wear these as house slippers, mostly barefoot, and no issues. Currently on my 6th pair.

Oops, you're right. I own the Adilette Aqua version, which runs smaller/narrower. I may try these out. Appreciate the correction.

If you are planning on wearing these no socks well… be careful. The stitching at the end of the top will scrape on your foot. Had to return my pair to Amazon after getting them on prime day.

Size up 1-2 sizes. Otherwise, it's good for house or backyard slippers. I don't know if I'd wear these as normal shoes. They aren't super comfortable, but are fine for short intervals.

I've noticed this as well. They used to make a slightly different variant called Core-Black/Preloved-Yellow that were absolutely awesome and had more of a fabric top. I haven't seen any available in years, but they look like this:

These are by far my favorite and I've been keeping an eye out for another pair for quite a while now. I bought one of the newer styles during another sale, but the top is made of some kind of plastic material and can get annoying . Never have that issue with the fabric ones though.

Even with that said, for $10 these are still a steal and make excellent house shoes.

Are you sure yours are the "Comfort" slides and not the Aqua ones or something else?

Also, nearly every comment I've seen about these sandals over the years says they run large, and I can confirm. I had to get return a couple of pairs and get a size down from normal.

I figured, it's definitely an easy mistake to make. I wouldn't really know the difference if I hadn't been keeping an eye out for a particular style for a while now.
It's usually the Aqua ones that come up on sale here and rarely the Comfort ones. These are way more comfortable than the Aqua ones, but you do have to be more careful about getting these wet. From what I understand, they'll start to stink pretty bad if exposed to too much water and it's not easy to get rid of the smell. Of course the Aqua ones don't have that problem and you can shower in them.

I agree. I also bought these shoes and they scrape the tops of my feet. After a couple years they scraped so hard after 30 mins of walking, my feet started to bleed.

Agreed about the end of the top. Not nearly as comfortable as previous versions. I'm hoping they are clearing these out to bring back the old version with adjustable Velcro and wider bases. These new comfort slides are not great
