  • Swappable button and stick caps: Configure the Access controller's button layout to suit your range of mobility and switch between the included stick caps to find the shape and texture that works best for you.
  • Adjustable stick length: Lengthen or shorten the control stick's extension arm, then lock it down at your ideal length for comfort and convenience.
  • Built for easy access: Place the controller wherever play is most comfortable for you: from any 360° orientation, on different flat surfaces, a wheelchair tray, or attached to an AMPS pattern mount*.
  • Expandable inputs: Join forces with other controllers. • Configurable buttons: Map button inputs so the commands you need are exactly where you want them, set button presses to toggle commands on/off or to serve as a single-press input, or disable buttons altogether to stop accidental pressing. You can even map two commands to a single button for more user-friendly play.
  • Adjustable stick settings: Calibrate the "north" direction for flexible positioning of the controller. Tailor stick sensitivity and deadzone to better suit your personal control needs.
  • * AMPS is an industry-standard mounting screw pattern for attaching devices to equipment, including accessibility.

Just glad that both Sony and Microsoft have adaptive controllers now. I think the only thing better they could do at this point would be opening the two to work on one another's platforms (but I can't see that happening)

Same here. I had to bust out my NES because I could play that since the controller only had 2 buttons.

I don't think so.

Here's a video from users of the controller talking about it

They have adapters that allows you to play cross platform for controllers. You probably can research this some more.

I'm wondering the same thing. I would love to get this and use it interchangeably between my PS5 and my PC.

Sony and Microsoft will never recoup the money spent on R&D for these controllers! It is a shiny spot in the dark corporate canvas that must be highlighted! Thanks OP

Arguably, it's also for people like them. Being idiotic is also a special needs situation. Although, that might be insulting to people with special needs or is differently abled.
Depending on how olde and arthritic some us will get, this might be a good investment for physical collectors.

I am seriously contemplated getting something like this just for the reason you said.

It obviously wouldn't work well for every game but you could make a much more comfortable setup for slower paced games

How long has this been out?? Glad Sony caught up. The adaptive xbox controller is one of the best products MS has ever made. I don't use it but have recommended it to families I work with (sped teacher) and man...solid construction all around and a bazillion inputs for 3rd party devices like switches. This one only has 2 it seems 🥴

Seems like a yes? https://www.reddit.com/r/disabled...r_working/
An interesting note in the product info:

I kind of want one to mount on my wall as a Home Automation controller.
